Alex Cutler is the co-founder of Aerodrome Finance, a decentralized exchange (DEX) built on the Base Layer-2 blockchain. He previously contributed to Velodrome Finance, a leading DEX on Optimism. Cutler has a background in politics, consulting, and tech, which informs his approach to decentralized governance and protocol design. Under his leadership, Aerodrome became a major liquidity hub on Base, leveraging veTokenomics (via veAERO) and innovative AMM mechanics. He’s active in the crypto community and has spoken publicly about Aerodrome’s mission to reshape DeFi infrastructure across Ethereum L2s.
