Brock-Pierce

Brock Pierce is an American entrepreneur and former child actor, best known for co-founding Tether, one of the first and most widely used cryptocurrency stablecoins. Launched in 2014 as Realcoin with Pierce, Reeve Collins, and Craig Sellars, Tether was designed to combine the stability of the U.S. dollar with the efficiency of blockchain technology. Pierce’s early involvement helped establish Tether as a foundational stablecoin in the crypto ecosystem, though he left the project in 2015.

Beyond Tether, Pierce has been active in multiple blockchain ventures, including Block.one and EOS.IO, and co-founded Blockchain Capital, a venture firm focused on crypto innovation. He has also engaged in political and philanthropic efforts, reflecting a broader commitment to promoting blockchain adoption and supporting technological innovation.
