Hayden Adams is the founder of Uniswap (UNI), the leading decentralized exchange that popularized automated market makers (AMMs). He launched Uniswap in 2018 after teaching himself smart-contract development, building the protocol around a simple but powerful constant-product formula that enabled permissionless token swaps without order books.

Under Adams’ leadership, Uniswap evolved through multiple versions, improving efficiency, liquidity provision, and capital performance. The UNI token was introduced in 2020 to support community governance. Today, Uniswap remains one of the most influential projects in DeFi, setting the standard for decentralized trading infrastructure.
