Hugo Philion is the co-founder and CEO of Flare Network, a Layer-1 blockchain focused on decentralized data access and cross-chain interoperability. With a background as a derivatives trader and a master’s in Machine Learning from UCL, he combines finance and technology expertise to lead Flare’s growth.

Under his direction, Flare has positioned itself as a “blockchain for data,” enabling non-smart contract networks like XRP and Bitcoin to connect to DeFi through its FAssets and oracle systems, advancing decentralized data sharing across Web3.
