Jake Kim is the founder of Mitosis, a blockchain project launched in 2023 and headquartered in South Korea. Mitosis focuses on improving cross-chain liquidity in decentralized finance (DeFi) through innovative mechanisms such as Ecosystem-Owned Liquidity (EOL) and miAssets. Prior to Mitosis, Jake co-founded Everett Protocol and worked as a blockchain consultant, gaining extensive experience in the Web3 ecosystem.

Under his leadership, Mitosis has raised over $7 million in seed funding from investors like Amber Group and Foresight Ventures. The project’s native token, MITO, was launched on major exchanges by August 2025, and the platform aims to provide more transparent and stable liquidity solutions for DeFi applications.
