Martin-Köppelmann

Martin Köppelmann is the co-founder of Gnosis, an early Ethereum ecosystem project focused on prediction markets, decentralized infrastructure, and tools for Web3 coordination. Launched in 2015, Gnosis became one of the first major projects built on Ethereum and later introduced the GNO token to support governance and participation within its ecosystem. Under Köppelmann’s leadership, Gnosis expanded beyond prediction markets to develop core blockchain infrastructure such as Gnosis Safe (now Safe), Gnosis Chain, and various DAO tooling products widely used across the industry.

Köppelmann is known for his strong advocacy of decentralization, transparent governance, and experimentation with new organizational models. His work has helped shape foundational elements of the Ethereum community, especially in multi-signature security, DAO frameworks, and scalable sidechains. Through research, public commentary, and hands-on development, he continues to influence the evolution of open, permissionless blockchain systems.
