The Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) Allianceâa coalition comprising prominent decentralized AI leaders like SingularityNET, Fetch.ai, Ocean Protocol, and CUDOSâhas proposed adding Paal.ai, an innovator in AI-driven chatbot solutions, to its ranks. According to the Alliance, this integration is pending community approval, with voting set to open from November 18 to November 23, 2024. Paalâs expertise in AI tools on platforms like Telegram and Discord has already gained traction among cryptocurrency communities and may extend the Allianceâs reach in decentralized AI solutions.
The ASI Alliance emphasizes that Paalâs platform-agnostic chatbot technology aligns with its goal of promoting accessible and decentralized AI applications. By joining the Alliance, Paal would further support ASIâs mission to develop Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) through AI-focused community engagement.
In support of the proposed integration, ASI Alliance CEO Dr. Ben Goertzel noted Paalâs potential to drive rapid AI product development, remarking on Paalâs history of delivering AI tools tailored for the crypto sector. âPaalâs customer-focused approach, paired with a swift rollout of innovative products, will add valuable components to our community as we aim for widely adopted, decentralized AGI and ASI,â he said.
Fetch.ai CEO and ASI Alliance Chairman, Humayun Sheikh, commented, âPaalâs integration is a step toward making AI practical and accessible for users. By fitting seamlessly into user workflows, Paalâs tools will help bridge the gap between research advancements and real-world applications.â
Under the merger proposal, Paalâs $PAAL tokens will migrate to the ASI Allianceâs FET (ASI) tokens at a conversion rate of 6.24:1. This token merge includes a 5% fee designated for marketing and integration costs. A 10% adjusted rate of 6.933:1 accounts for a staking contribution that will support long-term community incentives. Converted tokens will follow a 180-day vesting period to help stabilize market conditions, and projections estimate a new post-merger FET (ASI) token supply of approximately 2.88 billion.
The ASI Alliance believes that this structured tokenomics approach will encourage sustainable growth, stability, and interoperability between the ASI and Paal ecosystems.
The ASI Alliance, a collaborative body of Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, Ocean Protocol, and CUDOS, is the largest open-source entity advancing decentralized AGI and ASI research and development. By incorporating Paal, the Alliance aims to broaden access to transformative AI tools, positioning decentralized intelligence at the forefront of blockchain innovation.
