5th December 2025 – Binance has introduced Binance Junior, a parent-managed crypto app for children and teens aged 6 to 17. Unveiled during Binance Blockchain Week on December 3, the app marks the first major crypto savings product designed specifically for minors.
This move signals Binance’s push toward long-term adoption by helping families build digital wealth responsibly. It also underscores the exchange’s belief that the future of finance begins with the next generation.
Binance Junior allows parents to create crypto sub-accounts for their children. These accounts are linked to the parent’s verified Binance account, giving guardians full control over deposits, transfers, and feature access. Kids can save, earn passive yield, and learn about crypto, all in a simplified, secure environment.
The app focuses on financial education rather than trading or speculation. By doing so, it creates a low-risk pathway into digital finance, backed by strict KYC controls, real-time monitoring, and jurisdiction-specific compliance.
Binance co-founder Yi He described Binance Junior as a “family-centric platform” built to promote healthy saving habits from a young age. According to the company, early exposure to saving systems encourages long-term financial discipline.
By offering structured tools for families, Binance wants to position digital assets as part of daily financial planning, not just speculative instruments.
Since the launch, Binance Junior has stirred major conversation on X (formerly Twitter), with over 734,000 views on the announcement.

Many praised the app’s focus on literacy and parental control.
“Teaching kids about money early sets them up for real-world success.” — @JayNam2878
“Crypto is now pocket money.” — @AniChigozi1052
Even Binance founder CZ weighed in, saying:
“Protect your kids. Don’t let their crypto get stuck.” — @cz_binance
Skeptics raised concerns about market volatility and risk exposure.
“Can’t wait for my son to punt all his tuition on $ASTER.” — @emribrahim
Others joked that Binance Junior could introduce a generation to liquidation.
Meanwhile, meme coins like $BJ are riding the trend, despite having no relation to Binance.
