Brian Kerr is the co-founder and CEO of Kava, a DeFi platform designed to provide cross chain lending, borrowing, and stablecoin infrastructure. He co-founded Kava Labs in 2018 with the aim of building an open financial system that connects multiple blockchain networks and enables decentralized financial services across ecosystems.

Before entering the blockchain industry, Kerr worked in entrepreneurship and digital marketing and was involved in the esports sector through ventures such as Fnatic Gear. Under his leadership, Kava has grown into a Cosmos-based DeFi ecosystem supporting collateralized loans, stablecoins, and decentralized applications while focusing on cross-chain interoperability and scalable financial infrastructure.
