12th November 2025 – A new report from on-chain analytics platform Bubblemaps has raised serious concerns about the fairness of the recent $APR token airdrop by aPriori, a high-profile project building on Monad. Despite raising $30 million from tier-1 venture capital firms, aPriori is now facing accusations of airdrop manipulation.
aPriori launched its $APR token on October 23 on the BNB Chain, before its upcoming deployment on Monad mainnet. As part of its initial rollout, the project distributed 12% of the total supply through an airdrop. At its peak, $APR reached a market cap of $300 million.
However, Bubblemaps discovered that more than 60% of the airdropped tokens were claimed by a single connected entity. This entity reportedly used over 14,000 wallets to execute the grab.

According to Bubblemaps, these wallets shared multiple red flags:
As of now, the same entity is still actively funding new wallets to claim more tokens.
Lack of Transparency
Despite these findings, the aPriori team has not responded to Bubblemaps’ inquiries. It remains unclear how these wallets qualified for the airdrop or whether any controls were in place to prevent sybil attacks.
The situation has triggered a case on Bubblemaps’ Intel Desk. Community members can vote using $BMT tokens to push the investigation further into the spotlight.
Airdrops are meant to reward early users and community supporters. When one actor corners the majority of a distribution through networked wallets, it not only damages trust but also distorts token ownership and decentralization.
Given the size of aPriori’s funding and its profile within the Monad ecosystem, these claims—if proven—could lead to reputational fallout or regulatory attention.
