Carbon Browser Unveils “Biggest Upgrade Till Date” with v8.5.2

Carbon Browser, the Web3-enabled, privacy-first mobile browser, has launched what it called its “biggest Android update” to date: version 8.5.2. Released on July 25, 2025, this update focuses on improving privacy, performance, and stability, building on the features introduced in previous v8.x versions.

VPN Integration v2.0

This is the biggest feature in the update. Carbon Browser now offers an upgraded decentralized VPN. It’s built in collaboration with the Anyone protocol. The new VPN improves privacy, supports anonymous browsing, and is easier to use.

The homepage now loads faster than before. Carbon optimized the main interface for quicker startup and better responsiveness.
