CBOE announced that five spot Ethereum ETFs, including funds from Fidelity and VanEck, will be listed on the exchange on July 23. This follows CBOE posting new issue notifications as part of the ETF launch procedure.
Firms aiming to launch their spot Ethereum ETFs received SEC approval of 19b-4 forms in May. However, they need their registration statements to be effective before launching. Bloombergâs Eric Balchunas mentioned that firms would ârequest effectivenessâ on Monday. Fee amounts were disclosed in amended registration statements, with Fidelity, Franklin Templeton, VanEck, and 21Shares all waiving their fees for varying periods after the fundâs listing.
