18th November 2025 – DappRadar is going to shut down. The Web3 analytics platform said it can no longer operate sustainably. Founders Skirmantas Januskas and Dunica Dragos shared the news on November 18. They thanked users and partners and admitted the decision was difficult.
The platform will begin winding down services immediately. Users will lose access to real-time dapp tracking and portfolio tools. DappRadar also said the future of the RADAR token and the DAO is still undecided. The team plans to involve the community in that process.
DappRadar launched in 2018. It aimed to help users navigate an evolving blockchain world. It tracked data across more than 90 blockchains. Users depended on it to monitor activity in DeFi, NFTs, gaming, and metaverse sectors.
The platform offered more than basic analytics. It included NFT portfolio tracking, airdrop discovery, and gamified quests. Developers, traders, and analysts used it regularly to understand market trends.

Despite early success, DappRadar struggled financially. It raised $7.33 million across two funding rounds. However, rising infrastructure costs and declining user activity created pressure. Market volatility added further challenges.
The company became unsustainable over time. The founders said they explored alternatives. In the end, they chose shutdown to avoid further losses.
The $RADAR token dropped more than 38 percent after the news. Holders want clarity. DappRadar promised updates soon. The team will discuss token and DAO plans with the community. There is no final decision yet.

DappRadar’s closure leaves a hole in the analytics space. Tools like Chainalysis still exist but serve different needs. Free explorers lack DappRadar’s multi-chain scope. The shutdown highlights a deeper issue. Data platforms have trouble monetizing in a fluctuating market.
Crypto companies often scale fast but struggle to sustain. DappRadar’s story is a reminder. Building is hard. Surviving is harder.
Real voices. Real reactions.
didn’t expect @DappRadar to shut down, it's once a major traffic gateway. But thinking about it, I haven’t opened it from my bookmarks in years. Back in the 2020–2021 DeFi boom, I checked it all the time for new projects (still miss those days). Now, with the explosion of https://t.co/FED3jMyK99 https://t.co/uBOefwdL37

Well... @DappRadar is shutting down. This is the reality for real builders. A piece of Web3 and crypto history ending like this. The people who actually tracked the industry for seven years, who delivered real data and real infrastructure, could not find sustainable https://t.co/jALE5J0ZXK

I'm sorry to see this. Dappradar did so much for the space. Checking our place on the Ethereum leaderboard was a daily ritual back in the day. When I first met my wife in 2019 I told her that we were the #1 game on dappradar with 200 daily active users. Mass-market crypto https://t.co/M8KRGPoIbE https://t.co/p3N97UDXq4
