November 10, 2025 – In a major milestone for the decentralized AI sector, Fetch.ai, a founding member of the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI), has announced its inclusion in an upcoming CNBC documentary spotlighting the rise of autonomous AI agents in the global economy.
The program, titled “The Agent Economy: How Autonomous AI Is Rebuilding the Internet Around Us,” is produced by Acumen Media and is set to air on November 19, 2025, marking the first time a major U.S. business network dedicates a full-hour feature to decentralized AI infrastructure.
The feature focuses on autonomous economic agents (AEAs) intelligent software that executes transactions and negotiates contracts without human oversight. Fetch.ai announced the news on X (formerly Twitter) on November 10, calling it “a defining moment for decentralized AI visibility.”
Humayun Sheikh, the CEO of Fetch.ai and an early investor in DeepMind, will appear in the program. He will discuss how Fetch.ai’s agent framework enables self-operating systems for commerce, logistics, and finance. Fetch ai CNBC coverage will also explore how this new architecture could reshape global supply chains and economic models.
Acumen Media framed the series as a look at structural shifts driven by autonomous systems, from data exchange to global trade.
It positions the “agent economy” as a bridge between AI innovation and Web3 decentralization.

The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI) formed in 2024 through the merger of Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, Ocean Protocol, and CUDOS.
Together, these networks now power a decentralized AI stack used by Bosch, Volkswagen, and other enterprise partners.
The alliance’s infrastructure supports agent deployment at scale, enabling secure compute, tokenized data, and autonomous coordination.
The CNBC documentary adds fresh visibility to the alliance’s mission of making decentralized AI accessible to global industries. Fetch.ai said it will share streaming links and schedules on its channels before the broadcast.

Engagement to the announcement was moderate but promising. Within twelve hours, Fetch.ai’s post gathered 590 likes and 122 reposts, showing early retail interest. Analysts noted that mainstream media coverage often triggers institutional awareness especially when linked to emerging technologies.
This appearance could boost recognition of autonomous agent frameworks, moving them beyond crypto-native audiences. As the air date nears, the documentary may open a wider conversation about AI, DeFi, and the next phase of digital automation.
Real voices. Real reactions.
