Several crypto-focused platforms added to the buzz. Binance Square, the company’s own community feed, reportedly reshared the claim. Sites like CryptoTimes published speculative articles without verifying the story. As a result, the joke quickly reached parts of the crypto community that missed the satirical context.
CZ jumped in later that evening. He replied directly to the original post with a clear denial and a light tone:
