Major League Soccer (MLS) has partnered with Sweet, a digital collection platform, to debut MLS Quest on the Sui blockchain. MLS Quest introduces a gamified experience where fans can collect digital “Key Play of the Game” Medallions featuring officially licensed footage from MLS matches. The platform lets fans trade, sell, or gift these medallions while unlocking rewards as they complete match-related quests.
According to Sweet, fans can obtain MLS Medallions at various “MLS Quest Pickup Zones” across online channels, event locations, and an in-platform Trade Lounge and marketplace. Fans who gather all four medallions from a particular game complete a “quest,” gaining access to rewards like exclusive merchandise, autographed jerseys, and ticket discounts.
MLS Quest is designed to increase fan interaction with MLS’s digital presence while promoting community engagement across MLS’s online properties. The platform includes a free-to-claim medallion available on its website, with additional collectibles priced at approximately $4 through the marketplace.
