Binance has announced Thena ( $THE ) as the second project on its Airdrops Portal. Thena, a decentralized exchange and liquidity layer on BNB Chain and opBNB, aims to onboard more users into DeFi. Binance will list $THE on November 27, 2024, and launch trading pairs, including THE/BTC and THE/USDT.
Thena positions itself as a comprehensive DeFi hub, featuring a Spot DEX, perpetuals trading, and liquidity management services. The project aims to evolve into a “SuperApp” by integrating traditional banking, fiat ramps, and DeFi functionalities. Features like wallet abstraction and permissionless trading competitions simplify onboarding and enhance user experience.
Thena’s modular liquidity layer supports various token types, including stablecoins and AI tokens. Its ve(3,3) tokenomics enable partners to manage on-chain liquidity effectively. Upcoming launches include WARP, a launchpad for new projects.
The HODLer Airdrops initiative rewards BNB holders with tokens based on historical snapshots of their balances. This program integrates with Binance’s Simple Earn products and Launchpool rewards. Users can track their rewards through the THE HODLer Airdrops page before trading begins.
