Zano ($ZANO) has taken a major step toward real-world adoption. On August 27, the privacy-focused cryptocurrency integrated with Swiss payments gateway DFX.swiss, enabling users to buy, sell, and spend Zano directly with fiat. The move brings anonymity into everyday transactions—an area where most blockchains fall short.
Through DFX.swiss, users can now purchase $ZANO with credit cards, Apple Pay, or bank transfers. They can also cash out to fiat seamlessly, all while retaining self-custody. Unlike centralized exchanges, no intermediaries hold user funds. This aligns with Zano’s ethos of privacy and security.
The partnership extends further with OpenCryptoPay. Zano holders can now use their tokens for everyday purchases at more than 100 SPAR supermarkets across Europe. Shoppers in Austria, Hungary, and Slovenia can pay for groceries with $ZANO instantly and privately.
Launched in 2019, Zano is designed for enterprise-grade privacy and scalability. It uses ring signatures and zero-knowledge proofs to make transactions untraceable. Its hybrid Proof-of-Work/Proof-of-Stake consensus adds security while ensuring decentralization. Over 70% of its supply is already staked, reflecting strong community commitment.
The coin currently trades at $14.89 with a market cap near $200 million. Interest has grown as regulators scrutinize transparent chains like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Unlike Monero and Zcash, which face exchange delistings, Zano is doubling down on usability alongside privacy.
DFX.swiss, based in Zug’s “Crypto Valley,” supports 80+ coins with direct bank-to-wallet transfers. By integrating Zano, it offers regulated access while keeping users in full control of their keys.

Reaction on social media has been overwhelmingly positive. Advocates called it “real adoption” and “privacy made practical.” Analysts highlighted that the integration could aid price discovery and boost Zano’s global reach.
This follows earlier partnerships, including Zebec’s crypto cards accepted at Mastercard merchants, which expanded Zano’s spending options. Together, these integrations strengthen Zano’s case as a privacy-first currency designed for daily use.
Analysts suggest $ZANO could climb toward $50 by 2030 if adoption accelerates. Its expanding role in payments, combined with growing demand for private transactions, makes it a contender in the next phase of crypto adoption. For now, buying bread with a privacy coin is no longer a theory, it’s a reality.
