Chainlink - $LINK CCIP is now live on Aptos mainnet, marking the first integration on a Move-based blockchain.

September 6, 2025 ā In a major leap for cross-chain finance, Chainlink and the Aptos Foundation announced yesterday that the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) is now live on the Aptos mainnet. This marks the first CCIP integration on a Move-based blockchain, extending interoperability across more than 60 EVM and non-EVM networks.
The launch immediately enables DeFi protocols and asset issuers to expand into Aptos, bringing liquidity, tokenized assets, and institutional-ready infrastructure to one of the fastest Layer 1 chains.
CCIP gives Aptos secure cross-chain connectivity backed by Chainlinkās proven oracle technology, which already secures tens of trillions in transaction value. With this release, Aaveās GHO stablecoin becomes natively available on Aptos as a Cross-Chain Token (CCT). Bedrockās uniBTC and brBTC are also live, accessible via the CCIP-powered Interport app.
This integration opens the door for developers to build applications that can tap into global liquidity while supporting tokenized real-world assets. Moreover, it provides the infrastructure institutions need for compliance, privacy, and auditability.
Aptos Foundation SVP Ash Pampati called the integration a āmajor step forward,ā stressing that CCIP combined with Aptosā secure smart contract language āexpands the potential of decentralized finance on high-performance networks.ā
Thodoris Karakostas, Director of Partnerships at Chainlink Labs, echoed this view: āThe launch of CCIP on Aptos is a significant step in creating a unified cross-chain ecosystem where value and data move seamlessly.ā
Aave founder Stani Kulechov added that this move will āunlock new liquidity, scale GHO, and accelerate institutional adoption.ā

This milestone builds on Chainlink Data Feeds previously deployed on Aptos, as well as Aptosā participation in the Chainlink Scale program. Together, they lay the foundation for broader adoption, from tokenized asset flows to real-time settlements across multiple chains.
Aptos now connects to Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, OP Mainnet, and Sonic via CCIP, with more networks planned.
Chainlink continues to lead as the industry-standard oracle, powering major institutions such as Swift, Euroclear, Mastercard, and Fidelity. Aptos, designed for high throughput and low latency, is positioning itself as a hub for next-generation financial systems.
This launch unites two leaders Chainlink in interoperability and Aptos in performance, to drive the next phase of onchain finance.
