Evan Cheng is the co-founder and CEO of Mysten Labs, the team behind the Sui blockchain. A veteran engineer, he previously led compiler and programming systems at Apple and Meta, where he co-created the Move language and worked on Diem. In 2021, he founded Mysten to build scalable Web3 infrastructure. Under his leadership, Sui became a fast, object-oriented Layer 1 blockchain with growing adoption in 2024.
