31st December 2025 – Haedal Protocol, the largest liquid staking platform on Sui, has officially launched Haedal Liquidity, a major upgrade to its automated liquidity vault system. This marks a pivotal evolution from its earlier product, HaeVault, and is aimed at unlocking scalable, high-yield, and risk-optimized LP opportunities for DeFi users on the Sui blockchain.
It brings a modular, programmable liquidity management system to the Sui ecosystem. It supports multi-pool and multi-position deployment, along with market-aware automation. As a result, users can earn optimized yields without constantly monitoring or adjusting their positions.
So far, the protocol has cemented its lead in Sui’s liquid staking space. It holds over $209 million in total value locked and continues to grow, backed by prominent investors like Hashed, OKX Ventures, Animoca Ventures, and the Sui Foundation.
The Liquidity Vault v2 is designed to adapt dynamically to market conditions while automating rebalancing and maximizing returns. Key innovations include:
It also integrates with aggregators and farm layers, boosting capital efficiency and increasing TVL composability across the Sui ecosystem.
HaeVault launched in March 2025 and gave users simple, one‑click access to LP strategies with tight rebalancing and strong yields. It grew quickly. Within just two days, it reached $1 million in TVL and helped drive broader growth across the Haedal ecosystem.
However, in May 2025, a $223 million exploit hit liquidity pools on partner DEX Cetus. As a result, the team suspended HaeVault. The incident became a turning point. The Haedal team decided to rethink the system entirely and build something more resilient and adaptable. That decision ultimately led to Haedal Liquidity.
The team announced the transition on December 29, 2025. They deprecated HaeVault v1, stopped new deposits, and scheduled rebalancing to end on January 12, 2026. Meanwhile, withdrawals remain available. Users are now encouraged to move to Haedal Liquidity Vault v2, which aims to deliver safer and more optimized returns.
