Messier announced the release of Version 2 (V2) of its P2P exchange, scheduled for launch on November 19. The update builds on the platform’s existing framework and introduces features aimed at improving usability for both buyers and sellers.
- For Sellers: New tools include a Market Price Widget, Telegram Swap Alerts, and a “Share P2P Swap” button.
- For Buyers: Added features like a Fair Price Badge, Market Rate Alerts, and Lost Cost Comparisons enhance transparency and confidence.
- Messier continues to offer key V1 benefits, including zero MEV risks, slippage-free swaps, and Multi-Swap functionality.
For sellers, the Market Price Widget integrates live DEX data to recommend optimal swap pricing. A “Share P2P Swap” button makes sharing orders in Telegram or X groups easier. Telegram-based Swap Alerts notify the community of live public swap orders, including token details and exchange rates.
Buyers benefit from the Fair Price Badge, indicating swaps priced within ±5% of the market rate. Market Rate Alerts flag orders with prices ±20% off the market rate, helping users avoid unfavorable trades. The Lost Cost Comparison feature highlights additional expenses users might incur when using traditional DEXs, displayed during the buy process for clarity.
Messier’s V1 introduced Multi-Swap functionality, allowing larger orders to be completed efficiently by multiple participants. Other features include support for public and private swaps, slippage-free transactions, and unrestricted token pairing.
Messier’s V2 aims to solidify its position as a leading P2P exchange by eliminating common inefficiencies associated with traditional decentralized exchanges.
