NeurochainAI, a blockchain project focused on combining artificial intelligence with decentralized infrastructure, has begun executing its 2025 roadmap. The project confirmed its first token burn event on Aug. 21 and outlined progress on a migration to the Optimism Superchain.
The move to Optimism, a layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum, is designed to improve speed, lower transaction costs, and expand scalability while maintaining Ethereum’s security standards. NeurochainAI plans to complete the transition in stages through 2025:

On Aug. 21, the project announced its first burn of $NCN tokens. The exact number of tokens destroyed was 124,065,737 and the event was recorded on-chain. Token burns permanently remove coins from circulation, a practice often used to tighten supply and support value appreciation.
NeurochainAI described the burn as a “monumental step” in its ecosystem’s development and suggested that additional burns may follow as milestones are met.
NeurochainAI has partnerships with projects including Klaus, Dignow, AIxBlock, ATE, AI SIM, and Sage. These collaborations support the platform’s effort to integrate AI-driven applications with blockchain infrastructure.
The migration to Optimism and the start of token burns signal an effort to reshape NeurochainAI into a scalable, AI-powered blockchain network. While the burn event lacked transparency on the number of tokens involved, it reflects a step toward adjusting supply and refining tokenomics.
