Quant Network launches Quant Fusion, a Layer 2.5 solution eliminating bridges and enabling native asset transfers across blockchains
Author: Chirag Sharma
Quant Network has unveiled Quant Fusion, a new Layer 2.5 infrastructure designed to solve blockchain’s longest-running challenge: interoperability. Announced on June 30, 2025, the launch positions Quant to lead both the institutional and DeFi ecosystems into a more connected future.
Quant Fusion introduces a multi-ledger rollup that lets native assets and transactions flow across Ethereum, Hyperledger, Corda, and even legacy systems—without wrapped tokens.
This removes many of the vulnerabilities and complexities seen in current bridging solutions. Fusion’s architecture also supports compliance-first access controls and privacy layers, making it a fit for central banks, large enterprises, and regulated markets.
According to CEO Gilbert Verdian, the rollout of the Trusted Node Program will let approved operators stake QNT and earn fees—while controlling who can access what.
Quant Fusion is a Layer 2.5, standing between infrastructure layers and enabling seamless cross-chain value transfer. Its early use by the European Central Bank for digital Euro testing validates its real-world potential.
Fusion’s ability to align privacy, speed, and compliance could finally unlock massive use cases like CBDCs, tokenized bonds, and global digital payments. All this is done from one interface.
The market agrees. QNT surged 14% after the announcement, and analysts are bullish on its long-term value as staking demand grows.
