Sei Network Integrates USDC and Circle’s CCTP V2

July 11, 2025 — Sei Network just leveled up. The high-speed Layer-1 blockchain has officially integrated Circle’s USD Coin (USDC) and Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol V2 (CCTP), as confirmed by Circle and the Sei Development Foundation on July 10.

This integration means native USDC is now live on Sei. No more routing through IBC bridges like Noble. Developers can access plug-and-play stablecoin liquidity with fully reserved, dollar-backed USDC directly issued by Circle, the issuer of the world’s largest regulated stablecoin.

CCTP V2 eliminates friction between chains by allowing users to burn and mint USDC across supported blockchains, enabling seamless flows between Sei, Ethereum, Solana, and others. The move aligns Sei with Circle’s global vision and opens the door to faster payments, improved DeFi, and scalable institutional use cases.

Sei’s 2025: Record TVL, Explosive Growth, and Institutional Backing

The timing couldn’t be better. Sei’s network activity in 2025 has gone parabolic:
