Arthur Breitman is the co-founder and core architect of the Tezos blockchain. With a background in mathematics and quantitative finance, he previously worked at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Google X. In 2014, under the pseudonym “L. M. Goodman,” he published the original Tezos whitepapers introducing a self-amending blockchain protocol.
Together with his wife Kathleen Breitman, he launched Tezos and raised $232 million in a 2017 ICO. Despite early legal and governance challenges, Tezos became known for its on-chain governance and upgradeable smart contract platform. Arthur continues to lead its evolution, focusing on scaling (Tezos X) and real-world asset tokenization, such as through the Uranium.io project.
