Blocksquare and Vera Capital to Tokenize $1 Billion in U.S. Real Estate

In a major push toward real-world asset (RWA) adoption, Blocksquare has entered a strategic partnership with Vera Capital to tokenize $1 billion worth of U.S. real estate, Investing.com reported. The initiative marks one of the largest real estate tokenization efforts to date in the country.

Under the agreement, Blocksquare will provide the infrastructure to digitize a broad portfolio of commercial and multifamily properties across seven states. Vera Capital, in turn, will launch a digital marketplace powered by Blocksquare’s white-label platform, allowing global investors to buy tokenized shares of institutional-grade real estate.

First Property Tokenized in Fort Lauderdale

The collaboration kicked off with the tokenization of a $5.4 million commercial property in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The property promises an annual return of 5%, with future redevelopment potential. It serves as the first step in a roadmap targeting $1 billion in tokenized real estate holdings.

“This signals a major turning point for real estate tokenization in the United States,” said Denis Petrovcic, CEO of Blocksquare. He emphasized that the initiative reflects a shift from proof-of-concept blockchain use to full-scale deployment aimed at both retail and institutional investors worldwide.

Rapid Community Support Through Oceanpoint Launchpad

Ahead of the marketplace launch, Vera Capital conducted a staking campaign on Blocksquare’s Oceanpoint RWA Marketplace Launchpad. The campaign hit its target in just one hour, attracting over 100,000 staked BST tokens, despite being scheduled to run for 29 days.

Vera Capital, part of the Vera Group, has been active in real estate since 2012 and currently manages over $100 million in assets. The upcoming marketplace will enable tokenized investment in a diverse set of properties, offering increased access, liquidity, and transparency.

Operating in over 20 countries, Blocksquare has been positioning itself as a leading provider of real estate tokenization solutions.
