At the Nashville Bitcoin Conference, former President Donald Trump reportedly secured $25 million in donations, as revealed by Fox Business journalist Eleanor Terrett. Terrett noted on X (Twitter) that this substantial amount was confirmed by Bitcoin Magazine CEO David Bailey.
This fundraiser is part of a broader effort to engage with the crypto community. Since June, Trumpās campaign has accepted donations in various cryptocurrencies, accumulating over $4 million by July 2024. These contributions came from prominent cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Rippleās XRP, as well as the stablecoin USDC. Previously, in June, a fundraiser hosted by venture capitalists David Sacks and Chamath Palihapitiya raised approximately $12 million, attracting key figures from the crypto industry, including Gemini co-founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss and executives from Coinbase.
